COTTON SWEAT CAPRI

ORIGIN HAS A FUTURE

The cotton sweats from Christian Weber are knitted in Capri. The small island facing Mount Vesuvius is the stuff of legend. Emperor Tiberius ruled the Roman Empire from Capri for 11 years. He had a villa built in Caprese* every year of his reign. No appetite for history? The Caprese starter has retained its throne in the culinary empire: Mozzarella with tomatoes, basil, olive oil.

CREW NECK SWEATSHIRT 'TRAVEL'

WEBER + WEBER's Sartoria line features exclusive garments like this 'Travel' sweatshirt, made by Italian artisans from only the highest quality materials.

Sweat means to perspire in English. Athletes sweat a lot. Sporting perspiration gave birth to the idea of knitting a cotton material on a circular knitting machine that absorbs sweat and releases it to the surface so quickly that the skin remains dry. For this purpose, a soft lining thread is knitted into the back, which is later roughened in a separate process. The slightly fluffy inside of the Cotton Sweat warms, absorbs perspiration, and releases it again.

Fine-threaded cotton yarns are knitted for the Cotton Sweats Capri. A small proportion of polyamide yarns is added to these so that the sweat retains its shape..
